Brace yourselves Blink-182 fans, just One More Time... It’s time for a reunion, a trip down memory lane with the OG lineup of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker, back together and making their first noise since 2011.
Blink-182 set the stage for their big return with a heartfelt trailer for One More Time..., an emotional rollercoaster that includes candid snippets from an extensive interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. The trailer, a treasure trove of revelations, showcases Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker in unguarded moments, taking on topics they never have before. A teaser of three new songs, including the title track, accompanied the trailer, offering fans a tantalizing glimpse of what was to come… and is now here.
Recorded throughout the frenzy of their blockbuster reunion tour, which saw arenas, amphitheaters, and stadiums worldwide pulsating with Blink-182 mania, One More Time... has 17 new songs produced by drummer Travis Barker. The album captures a band that’s clearly happy to be in each other’s company again, connecting on themes of tragedy, triumph, and, most importantly, brotherhood.
Blink-182 were never a band to shortchange us on the music video front either. Whether they were galivanting nude through the streets with porn star Janine Lindemulder for “What’s My Age Again?” or lampooning the biggest boy bands of the time in “All The Small Things,” they’ve always known how to show us a good time. Directed by the Malloys, the music video for "Dance With Me" pays homage to punk legends, the Ramones, sending a love letter to their influences with their unmistakable flair. It's a visual ode to the heroes that paved the way for Blink’s own rock stardom.
For hardcore Blink collectors, the hunt for limited vinyl just got real. The album comes both digitally and physically, with options ranging from standard black vinyl to limited edition variants like purple ooze, red and clear marble, and egg splatter, and more on the band’s website. And that's not all - there’s coke bottle clear vinyl, Amazon exclusive opaque white vinyl, and Spotify Fans First exclusive electric smoke vinyl. (Is there a Guinness World Record for most colors of vinyl available for one record? Might be time to create one if there’s not). Blink-182's web store even throws in a limited-edition cassette for good measure.
