After 40 years, the late Dwight Twilley's career-defining Jungle album finally gets its due, and a long-awaited CD release. And it's packed with extras!

In the pantheon of power pop history, Dwight Twilley's Jungle stands as a pinnacle of commercial success and songwriting brilliance. It features the unforgettable Top 20 hit single "Girls," an MTV staple with a memorable guest appearance by Tom Petty. Another standout track, "Why You Wanna Break My Heart," found new life and fame on the soundtrack of the cult classic film Wayne's World, while "Little Bit Of Love" enjoyed its own popularity as a beloved music video.

For the first time ever, Jungle is available on CD, a much-anticipated event for Twilley fans all over. The release, part of Iconoclassic Records' comprehensive campaign to reissue Twilley's extensive catalog, is a true gift for hardcore fans. It comes with a 12-page booklet featuring never-before-seen photos from the original cover shoot, unearthed by longtime Twilley art director Zox. It also includes detailed liner notes by power pop authority Ken Sharp. Sharp’s new 2,500-word essay, based on interviews with the late Dwight Twilley, Susan Cowsill, Zox, and other musicians who played on the album, offers a real insider perspective on the making of the album. This deep dive into the album's history and impact is a fitting tribute to Twilley’s legacy. The remastering, handled by Maria Triana from the original masters, ensures that Jungle sounds better than ever, like you’re hearing it for the first time all over again. The CD also features six bonus tracks, four of which are previously unreleased, adding a little something extra for fans to discover.

Bonus Tracks:
Forget About It Baby (outtake, previously unreleased)
You Can Change It (outtake, previously unreleased)
Don’t You Love Her (outtake)
Long Lonely Nights (demo, previously unreleased)
To Get to You (demo)
Jungle (demo, previously unreleased)

With its blend of catchy hooks, heartfelt lyrics, and Twilley's distinctive voice, the album captures the essence of power pop at its finest. In bringing Jungle back to life, Iconoclassic has not only honored Dwight Twilley's legacy but also ensured that his music continues to find and inspire new generations of listeners. The time has come for this little slice of rock history to be rediscovered.
