Ghost, with nearly 10 billion streams to their name, continue to captivate global audiences with their euphoric live shows. Recently, they concluded the Re-Imperatour U.S.A. 2023, a tour that spanned over two dozen North American cities and wrapped up with an astonishing two-night finale at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
In March 2022, the Los Angeles Times highlighted Ghost's dominance by writing, they had “conquered metal and the charts” with their fifth album, IMPERA. The album debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. album charts and topped charts in Sweden, Germany, and Finland, while reaching the top 5 in several other countries. Featuring tracks like “Spillways” (“sweetly constructed rock tune" - New York Times) and the Grammy-nominated “Call Me Little Sunshine,” IMPERA was Ghost’s most topical and unique work to date, leading Rolling Stone to conclude, “Ghost predicted the pandemic, now the metal band is foretelling the fall of empires.”
Ghost's successful 2022 also included their first Billboard Hot 100 entry with the platinum-certified single “Mary on a Cross.” Meanwhile, IMPERA won Favorite Rock Album at the American Music Awards and Best Rock Album of the Year at the iHeart Radio Music Awards. Additionally, Ghost released PHANTOMIME, a covers EP featuring their take on Iron Maiden’s “Phantom of the Opera,” earning them their fifth Grammy nomination.
With Rite Here Rite Now, Ghost’s ambitious journey has marveled movie audiences far and wide and can now be enjoyed by the masses on Rite Here Rite Now (The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).
