This Nashville-based, Austin-raised artist takes a deep dive into the end of a long-term relationship, crafting lyrics that balance intimate autobiography with universal emotional release. Produced by Mary Bragg, the album highlights Pettis' luminous voice, one of the most dynamic and versatile of her generation.
Blending folk, country/Americana, and a hefty dose of soul, Grace's music resonates with heartfelt authenticity. Her songwriting accolades are numerous, including prestigious wins at NPR’s Mountain Stage NewSong Contest, and grants from the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation. Esteemed artists such as Sara Hickman and Ruthie Foster have recorded her songs, with Foster featuring three Pettis co-writes on her Grammy-nominated album, Healing Time.
