Her songwriting accolades are numerous, including prestigious wins at NPR’s Mountain Stage NewSong Contest, and grants from the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation. Esteemed artists such as Sara Hickman and Ruthie Foster have recorded her songs, with Foster featuring three Pettis co-writes on her Grammy-nominated album, Healing Time.
