Known for their high energy, hook-laden brand of rock 'n' roll, the Hoodoo Gurus are back with their first new US release in over a decade. Purity of Essence is co-produced by the band with Charles Fisher, producer of classic Gurus albums Mars Needs Guitars and Blue Cave. The band also reunited with old friend (and former Ramones producer) Ed Stasium, who did the mixing. Available in the US on their own imprint, Hoodoo Gurus Records.
