Platinum-selling band Houndmouth have released their Dualtone debut Good For You.
The album is the Indiana trio's fourth and was recorded with Brad Cook and mixed by Jon Ashley. It features novel-esque storytelling and a bright sound, highlighted on album ender "Las Vegas," and weaves tales of fading love, growing up, and reflection. It finds the band returning to what they do best: "shaggy, swinging, big-screen storytelling" (NPR Music) set to a rustic, home-recorded sound.
"This album felt like being back in time again, only now everything is a little more dialed-back and cared for," drummer/vocalist Shane Cody remarks. "It was like a return to the way we fell in love with playing music together."
