In early 2019, Sylvia Tyson came across a collection of 1/4” analog tapes, recorded before live audiences over a period of three or four years in the ‘70s. The result is a collection of 26 performances, most never previously released. This landmark collection titled The Lost Tapes, a double CD package, is out now, released the day following both Ian and Sylvia being inducted into the Canadian Songwriters’ Hall Of Fame.
