Back in the late '80s, Jimmer Prodrasky's the Rave-Ups were a critically acclaimed Los Angeles-based band straddling the line between rock and country. Songs like 'Positively Lost Me' led them to a major recording contract with Epic Records, while the connections landed them a role in seminal '80s teen flick Pretty in Pink.
After some 20 years, Podrasky has returned with this first solo album, The Would-Be Plans, a stirring work that finds him poking fun at himself and the world at large, but also confronting new emotional terrain with honesty and truth and aplomb.
