Indie pop artist Lynz drops her self-produced single "Fallin'," which blends shimmering synths, dynamic guitars, and raw emotion.
Indie pop artist Lynz is back with a captivating new single, “Fallin’.” Self-produced and emotionally raw, this track channels the whirlwind of emotions that come with that feeling when you're drawn to someone. Blending shimmering synths with dynamic guitars, “Fallin’” is a chaotic yet introspective look at love, capturing the rush and uncertainty that defines those transformative moments of connection.
“‘Fallin’’ is about that moment when you realize you’re truly falling for someone,” Lynz explains. “Sometimes, feelings have been bubbling under the surface for a while, but your mind hasn’t come to grips with it yet - or maybe you’ve tried to deny it. This song is about finally accepting it.”
Known for her energetic live-looping performances that seamlessly mix guitars, synths, and drum machines, Lynz has been making music since she was just 12 years old. Originally from Buffalo, NY, she produced her debut album Dusk at Dawn at the age of 16, winning the prestigious Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Songwriting Competition. Her talent didn’t go unnoticed - she then earned a scholarship to the Grammy Foundation’s Grammy Camp, which set her on a path toward a career in music. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2024, Lynz quickly established herself as both a sought-after co-writer and producer.
Her distinctive sound, a blend of Taylor Swift's emotional storytelling, the Weeknd's atmospheric production, and Owl City's catchy melodies, has found her a home in LA's thriving indie pop scene. Through high-profile showcases like Pop Hangs and Monday Monday at Hotel Café, Lynz continues to connect with new audiences while honing her craft.
“Fallin’” is the first in a series of singles leading up to a new album in 2026 which promises to be a breakout year for Lynz. Her combination of honeyed vocals, infectious beats, and deeply personal lyrics will leave listeners eagerly awaiting for what's next.
