Woodwind master Joel Peskin and famed R&B singer Merry Clayton, who duetted with Mick Jagger on 'Gimme Shelter,' are releasing their own version of the Rolling Stones classic. Peskin has played with notable artists including the Beach Boys, Barbara Streisand, Frank Zappa and Bonnie Raitt, and has performed on hit TV shows 'American Idol' and 'Dancing With The Stars.' Clayton has sung for Neil Young, Tom Jones, Joe Cocker and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
'Gimme Shelter' comes on the heels of feature full-length film, Twenty Feet From Fame, about Clayton and other famous singers of the 70's.
