Tubular Beats contains Mike Oldfield's greatest hits remixed in collaboration with the multi-platinum German producer Torsten 'York' Stenzel (whose credits include Tina Turner, Moby and more). The remixes were created from the original recorded tracks, with Mike Oldfield re-recording select guitar parts. The album includes such classics as 'Tubular Bells,' 'To France' and 'Moonlight Shadow,' all re-mixed in fresh, danceable versions.
The album features the brand new song 'Never Too Far,' which was recorded with former Nightwish singer Tarja Turunen.
