Nathan McEuen’s My One and Only is a heartfelt collection led by the emotionally charged title track, and featuring reimagined fan favorites that reflect his personal journey and musical evolution.

Nathan McEuen’s new EP, My One and Only, is a powerful reflection of his personal journey and musical growth. The title track, a deeply emotional tribute to his wife, Tracy, is the centerpiece of the EP. "My One and Only" started as an idea sparked years ago in a collaboration with Mason Williams, and after years of life changes, including meeting Tracy and getting married, it became a song McEuen felt compelled to complete. "It took about 20 tries to play it through without either of us crying," McEuen recalls. When he finally did, he knew the song resonated as much with Tracy as it did with him.

The song's reception at shows, where audiences immediately responded with requests to stream or buy it, led McEuen to record it in the studio. Collaborating with Chris Caswell on piano, the song came together in a single take, capturing its raw emotional essence. This marked the beginning of a larger project, the My One and Only EP which also includes fresh takes on McEuen’s fan favorites like “Lately,” “Up to No Good,” and “Beautiful Night.” The latter earned praise from Steve Martin, who described it as "worthy of Jobim."

As the son of celebrated Dillards and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band guitarist John McEuen, Nathan McEuen’s career spans more than 40 years. He’s shared the stage with a remarkable roster of artists, including Bon Jovi, Steve Martin, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Dwight Yoakam, and Kenny Loggins. His collaborations with Williams and Caswell continue to shape his sound, deepening the emotional weight of his songwriting.

My One and Only is a snapshot of McEuen’s journey thus far, one marked by love, personal growth, and musical evolution. With over 200 original songs and a lifetime of performances, his new EP adds to McEuen's already impressive catalog, showcasing both his artistry and his ability to connect deeply with audiences around the world.

“Nathan McEuen’s light is shining bright. A fine singer, guitarist, and an excellent songwriter. There is hope on the horizon.” – Chris Hillman (The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Bros.)
