This song was me stepping in as my own fairy godmother, telling myself that I was in control.” Recorded at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York with her frequent partner Solomonophonic and some stellar horn players, "Cinderella" channels a '70s nostalgia while still feeling fresh. “I wanted to make something where you can’t help but dance and move and feel good while listening,” she says.

The accompanying video for "Cinderella," co-directed by Ragan Henderson and Remi herself, is a celebration of Los Angeles. In it, the singer dons a vintage jazzercise bodysuit and is joined by a colorful ensemble of dancers and band members for a fun-filled day at the park. The video's energetic choreography and whimsical touches, like Wolf's magical high-rise ankle warmers, highlight the confidence and joy she brings to her Big Ideas era. The video even features a cameo from Mac DeMarco as a local ice cream man.
