Remi Wolf is back with a bang with Big Ideas, and she’s looking to bend every genre to her will.

Remi Wolf, living on the fringe while pushing into the mainstream, has carved out her own lane in the alternative pop scene. Known for her unique blend of nostalgic funk, indie rock, and alt-pop, Wolf has become a festival favorite and a muse to artists across genres. Now she enters the next phase with her highly anticipated sophomore album, Big Ideas.

To kick off this new era, Wolf released "Cinderella," the first single from album. The disco-rock bopper is a delightful addition to her vibrant discography, featuring catchy toplines and classic production that fans have come to love. “‘Cinderella’ is a lyrical collage of the ups and downs and mood swings and transient lifestyle I was experiencing while writing this album,” Wolf explains. “Constant travel and rapid changes led me to feel such a rollercoaster of emotion. This song was me stepping in as my own fairy godmother, telling myself that I was in control.” Recorded at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York with her frequent partner Solomonophonic and some stellar horn players, "Cinderella" channels a '70s nostalgia while still feeling fresh. “I wanted to make something where you can’t help but dance and move and feel good while listening,” she says.

The accompanying video for "Cinderella," co-directed by Ragan Henderson and Remi herself, is a celebration of Los Angeles. In it, the singer dons a vintage jazzercise bodysuit and is joined by a colorful ensemble of dancers and band members for a fun-filled day at the park. The video's energetic choreography and whimsical touches, like Wolf's magical high-rise ankle warmers, highlight the confidence and joy she brings to her Big Ideas era. The video even features a cameo from Mac DeMarco as a local ice cream man.

Big Ideas is poised to propel Remi Wolf to new heights, showcasing her well-honed sense of self and musicianship, a magnum opus of guitar-smashing, soul-bearing, life-altering bangers. Following her critically acclaimed debut album Juno in 2021, Wolf’s rise to stardom has been meteoric. She’s performed at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, SXSW, Newport Folk Festival, and Bonnaroo. She’s sold out tours across North America and Europe, playing venues like Terminal 5 in NYC and The Shrine in LA, and has opened for big names like Lorde, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Paramore.
