After releasing a series of 7-inches and an EP over the last few years, at long last the debut full-length studio album by Superhuman Happiness is upon us. Entitled Hands, the recording stakes a claim to a new movement in dance rock wherein real musicians perform in the moment without being chained to samples, loops and other artificial flavors.
The band's individual members have resumes that stretch across Antibalas, Iron & Wine, and TV On The Radio, while musically they freely experiment with elements of pop, prog, psych and Afrobeat to create their own inimitable sound. The end result is both wholly physical and cinematic.
