The Linda Lindas return with their sophomore album No Obligation, delivering a bold fusion of L.A. punk, post-punk, and rock en español, all while defying expectations and embracing their unbreakable DIY ethos.

With No Obligation, their eagerly anticipated second full-length album, the Linda Lindas continue to propel their unapologetic, joyous trajectory of blending L.A. punk with post-punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave, and rock en español. Crafted during school breaks and weekends (Lucia de la Garza and Eloise Wong still in high school, Mila de la Garza just out of middle school, and 20 year old Bela Salazar patiently awaiting them to finish school), the album reflects two years of dedication amidst their academic and touring schedules.

"I don’t got no obligation," declares Wong fiercely in the album's title track, setting the rebellious tone from the outset. From their viral performance of "Racist, Sexist, Boy" at the LA Public Library, the Linda Lindas have captivated audiences with their outspokenness on societal issues and their growth as musicians and studio artists. Despite their evolution, their punk ethos remains unwavering.

Preceding the album's release, the band teased fans with tracks like the angst-ridden "Too Many Things" and the fiery "Revolution / Resolution." Each band member contributes to songwriting and lead vocals, resulting in a dynamic, cohesive sound that mirrors their shared worldview and strong bond.

As they prepare for a monumental two-month tour across America, including headlining shows at intimate venues and a sold-out performance at Berkeley's iconic Gilman Street, the Linda Lindas invite listeners to check out No Obligation, an album that defies expectations and expands the boundaries of modern punk.
