From their earliest days as a band, the Revivalists wanted to visit Muscle Shoals and record at the legendary Fame Studios. In May of 2019, they were able to make the hajj from the Big Easy happen. The band went down to Muscle Shoals, Alabama and recorded for three days, laying down a brand-new song, a Bee Gees cover, “To Love Somebody,” and a re-imagined “Wish I Knew You.” Alongside their recording, they captured the whole experience for a documentary to compliment this new release.
