Uni Boys' Buy This Now! is their latest offering to the power pop gods, a twelve-track testament to love and loneliness in the modern world.

Uni Boys are back and busting out the jangly new wave glory guitars and classic west coast pop melodies for a sound that demands you to Buy This Now! Or at least give it a listen. This time around the band have elevated their brand of power-pop rock 'n' roll, introducing Beach Boys harmonies and a cache of keyboards, infusing their sound with a new (old) twist.

Uni Boys, graduates with distinction from the school of power pop, initially left their mark with the debut album Do It All Next Week. Now, they’re doing it all again and more, thanks to production help from Brian and Michael D'Addario of the Lemon Twigs, who made the record at their Brooklyn studio in East Williamsburg.

The new album pulsates with songs that navigate the complexities of love and loneliness in the modern world. Uni Boys wield jangly guitars and draw on classic west coast pop melodies to craft cheerful pop melodies with blissfully trivial lyrics. Yet, beneath the surface, irony and disdain linger, creating a juxtaposition that mirrors the multifaceted nature of contemporary relationships. The album exudes an authentic rock 'n' roll spirit, showcasing the band's honest songwriting, undeniable hooks, and irresistible pop charm.

With Buy This Now!, Uni Boys have created an album that resonates with the timeless ethos of power pop greats like Milk ‘N’ Cookies and Shoes, yet still find a way to drag it kicking and preening into the modern world.
